With only 13 days left before the 2009 Swedish Allsvenska (Premier League) season kicks-off in April the 6, Djurgården’s biggest player, 198 centimeters long and 105 kilograms heavy goalkeeper Pa Dembo Touray has set himself a big target.

In a question an answer session with the club’s official website, the out of favour Gambian goalkeeper want to be the best in the coming season.

After a disappointing campaign in 2008 that saw them narrowly escaped relegation, Pa Dembo, wants to be even better with the team in 2009.

Question: What do you want to improve on in 2009?

Pa Dembo: Quite simple, to be even better.

Question: What will be your own performance in 2009?

Pa Dembo: To become the best!

Question: Have you had a dream club to play in?

Pa Dembo: Manchester United.

Question: What other sports have you been active in?

Pa Dembo: I have played volleyball.

Question: Where and at what level have you played when you were in your teen years?

Pa Dembo: In Real de Banjul Juniors.

Question: What is missing in your refrigerator?

Pa Dembo: Milk.

Meanwhile Pa Dembo and Djurgården continued their Preseason training camp in Portugal at the Algarve Coast with a 2-2 draw with Portuguese side Portimonense.

Both Pa Dembo and his Gambian compatriot Kebba Ceesay played the whole game and Kebba had another good outing as usual during the preseason.

The youngster who is eligible to play for both his country of birth the Gambia and Sweden had another good performance (again) as a central defender.

And the Swedish media is tipping him to be a starter once the season gets underway and maybe this season will be his real break-through with the team.
