The Gambian boxer has remained unbeaten since last year and is still counting. The new award honours his breath-taking performance over the year. Badou has so far managed to keep those records after winning all his bouts in 2011.
The ESPN esteemed columnist Rafael describes Badou Jack as “…a bit of a project, but he can fight and is a crowd-pleasing, come-forward fighter with solid power.”

Twenty-eight year old Gambian boxer Badou Jack extended his fine form amassing victories undefeated in the super middleweight bout in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 16th.
The former Gambian Olympian who had turned professional had little work to do against his American boxing opponent Adam Collins whom he was far superior to, packing 2:28 in the first bout.
Jack made short work of Collins in the night’s opening bout. After 3 knockdowns, the referee had seen enough between these 2 super middleweights and called a stop to the fight. The knockdowns by Jack, who is dubbed “the Ripper”, weren’t significant enough to stagger Collins but it seemed like he was outmatched from the opening bell. Comments (
