Gambia names delegation for Tanzania and Algeria

Mancini goes to Tanzania & Algeria with 23 players

The Normalisation Committee of the Gambia Football Association said that they are pleased to announce that the Scorpions of The Gambia will travel to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and subsequently to Algeria for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for Brazil and 2013 CAN qualifiers for South Africa respectively.

The members of the national team are expected to leave Banjul today and would play the Taifa Stars of Tanzania on the 9th June in Dar es Salaam before traveling to North Africa for the second leg of the 2013 CAN qualifier for South Africa against the Desert Foxes of Algeria scheduled to take place in Blida on the 15th June, 2012.

The Normalisation Committee also added that they are soliciting the support of every Gambian for the Scorpions’ success in these two crucial fixtures.
